Performance Run

The performances were but a step on the journey. Premiering a piece where, as a practitioner, you are both stranded alone and in an infinity of rhizomatic relations to the space and the entities within it, and suddenly you are surrounded by sixty spectators, was overwhelming. Furthermore, while some audience members enjoyed being “thrown into” the piece and navigating their own adventures, others felt lost, unable to enter or sustain the piece’s meditative state. We all felt that there is a lot of fine tuning to do, for Azathoth as a practice and a performance alike.
