Blue Sky

This is a format for workshopping dance practices in collaboration with fellow practitioners.
It is a time and place for coming together, trying things out,
and attending to the craft of dance through communality and specificity.

Blue Sky is currently residing at Stockholm, hosted at ccap.

In each session, a different practitioner facilitates a practice they are deeply engaged with.
Then, we experiment with ways to unfold and nourish that practice.

Within this research catalogue you will find videos from the sessions,

as well as descriptions of the forms-of-practice with which we worked.

For Spring 2026, I’m going back to where my love for this dance laboratory began:
nerding and geeking out on developing esoteric movement practices,
and articulating them together with other practitioners.

In the first-hour of each session, I will share a different movement practices
that speculate on what more a body can do, using tools from somatics and dance.
In the second-hour, we will play with it through softly structured improvisation.

Come as you are – attendance is free, and open to anyone curious.
