A variation piece informed by the writings of Antonin Artaud. The base variation- a town-scene consisting of simple, daily actions- is distorted through a range of theatrical styles and performative nuance. The variations switch rapidly, creating strong and fleeting impressions. By layering the variations with live music, text, and miscellaneous staged events, a matrix of intuitive associations is created.
